Bookkeeper Role
As a Full-Time Remote Bookkeeper, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping our clients' financials accurate and up to date. You’ll handle bookkeeping for a variety of businesses while collaborating with a supportive, tight-knit team.
What You’ll Be Doing
✅ Provide bookkeeping services on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis for multiple clients.
✅ Maintain financial records in Xero and Dext (experience with those tools is a plus but not required).
✅ Reconcile accounts, verify transactions, and ensure financial accuracy.
✅ Manage accounts payable and cash flow.
✅ Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, pension contribution forms, and other government documents.
✅ Prepare reports by analyzing financial data and trends.
✅ Work independently and manage your own schedule—no micromanaging here!
What We’re Looking For
- You have at least 1-2 years of bookkeeping experience and are comfortable using cloud-based software.
- You love efficiency and are always on the lookout for better ways to do things
- You enjoy working independently but also thrive in a collaborative team environment
- You take pride in your work and get a weird sense of accomplishment when the numbers just balance (even if your friends don’t get it).
- You’re curious, tech-savvy, and always eager to learn and grow.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communicator - You’ll be communicating with clients and the team via email and video chat.
- Flexibility and openness to a remote work environment.
- Experience with Xero and Dext preferred.
- Experience with e-commerce reporting would be a big asset as most of our clients fall under this category.

What We Offer
💰 Salary: $40,000 - $52,000 (based on experience)
