THE ROLE

We are a growing online accounting services company and need a Full Time Remote Bookkeeper to grow with us. You will work with enthusiastic team members who know that quality of life and enjoying your work is as important as getting your work done.

This position would suit someone with previous bookkeeping experience and a proven ability to use cloud based software efficiently. This position will focus on updating client financials on a weekly and monthly basis, filing sales tax returns, making payments and supporting payroll.

Xero and Dext (Receipt Bank) experience would be helpful but is not required. We are looking for someone who is diligent and accountable; we won’t micromanage you or your schedule.

  • Get a weird sense of accomplishment from making things balance that your friends don’t really understand.
  • Bring a positive mental attitude to all you do.
  • Are organized and not afraid of a challenge.
  • Are comfortable communicating with clients over email and occasional video chat.
  • Have bookkeeping experience and/or an accounting diploma or certificate.
  • Are open to flexible working - we need you to be available, but we won’t schedule you.
  • Think that we would be a good fit for you.
